Compression

If you want to edit your settings further than what was allowed in the setup, you can here.

  • The first bar edits the Audio Quality Settings from the setup.
  • The second bar edits the Device Tuning settings from the startup.
    • Up this value if you discover popping or static when playing.

Audio Processing

Here we can change Noise Suppression. By default Speex is enabled. With Speex, you can change how much Noise is filtered out. Don’t set this too low (left) or you will probably sound like you are underwater.

In my opinion, RNNoise sounds better, though can be a little more taxing on your CPU. If you have a decent CPU, go with RNNoise, if you don’t know what your CPU is, best to just leave it on Speex.

You probably shouldn’t do Both unless you game in an industrial factory.
